Why Meyer Z-52?

We chose this variety of turf because of its acceptability in the landscaping community. We specialize our fertilizer and pesticide management programs to focus on growing healthy zoysia. Our farm is small, and we do not have to worry about cross contaminating different varieties of sod with our farming equipment. Note that because we are small, we have occasionally experienced product shortages in the past. We will only harvest turf that is 100% ready to go. We apply two applications of pre-emergent each year: one in the spring and a second in the fall. Our fertilizer program is based on laboratory soil test results. We typically begin fertilizer applications once the soil reaches adequate temperature in the spring and continue to early fall. Our center pivot irrigation system allows us to deliver water is specific quantities and times that benefit the grass.
